To be eligible to apply for an Erasmus+ mobility opportunity, an applicant must:
Be a registered student of FUNIC Cameroon Higher Institute of Entrepreneurship and Technology enrolled in an eligible programme.
Be nominated by the relevant School or Faculty.
Have successfully completed at least one semester of study before the mobility period begins.
Be in good academic standing with no pending disciplinary sanctions.
Demonstrate satisfactory academic performance in accordance with the programme requirements.
Meet any language proficiency requirements specified by the host institution.
Be medically fit to undertake international mobility.
Demonstrate the motivation, maturity and personal integrity required to represent FUNIC and Cameroon as an international student ambassador.
Meet any additional eligibility requirements specified by the host institution, funding body or the Erasmus+ Programme.

FUNIC actively encourages applications from qualified students who have experienced social, economic, educational or personal disadvantage. The University recognises that these circumstances may limit access to international education and is committed to widening participation while maintaining academic excellence.
FUNIC strongly encourages applications from Internally Displaced Persons — students forced to leave their homes because of armed conflict, violence or insecurity but who remain within Cameroon. This includes students displaced by the Anglophone Crisis affecting the North West and South West Regions, and those displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency in the Far North Region. Qualified IDP students who satisfy the academic requirements are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications are encouraged from students living with physical, sensory, intellectual or psychosocial disabilities. FUNIC is committed to promoting equal access to international mobility and will work with partner institutions to facilitate reasonable accommodations in accordance with Erasmus+ policies and available resources.
Students with long-term physical or mental health conditions that may have affected their educational journey are encouraged to apply. Where permitted under Erasmus+ rules, additional inclusion support may be available.
FUNIC strongly encourages applications from single mothers, young parents and young women whose education has been interrupted because of pregnancy, early parenthood or circumstances arising from conflict, displacement or conflict-related violence. Parenthood shall not constitute a barrier to participation in Erasmus+ mobility.
Students whose financial circumstances have limited their educational opportunities are encouraged to apply. FUNIC believes that financial disadvantage should never prevent talented students from benefiting from international education.
Students who are the first members of their immediate family to pursue higher education are encouraged to apply. FUNIC recognises the determination and resilience demonstrated by first-generation university students and seeks to expand their access to international learning opportunities.
Applications are encouraged from students originating from rural, remote and underserved communities where opportunities for higher education and international exposure have traditionally been limited.
Students who combine their studies with employment or self-employment to finance their education are encouraged to apply. FUNIC recognises the commitment and resilience demonstrated by working students.
Applications are encouraged from student athletes who have successfully balanced academic studies with competitive sporting commitments. FUNIC recognises the discipline, leadership, teamwork and resilience developed through sport and values these qualities in international mobility participants.
Students who provide regular care or support to parents, siblings, children or other dependent family members are encouraged to apply. FUNIC recognises that caring responsibilities may create additional barriers to educational participation and international mobility.
Where permitted under applicable law and Erasmus+ Programme rules, FUNIC encourages applications from refugees, asylum seekers and other eligible displaced persons who satisfy the academic requirements for participation.
Applications are encouraged from students belonging to groups that have traditionally been underrepresented in international mobility programmes because of social, economic, geographical or other structural barriers.
FUNIC is committed to ensuring that all Erasmus+ mobility opportunities are administered in accordance with the principles of fairness, transparency, equal opportunity and non-discrimination. No applicant shall be discriminated against on the grounds of sex, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, language, religion or belief, age, socio-economic background or any other status protected under applicable law or recognised within the Erasmus+ Programme.
Important: Encouraging applications from underrepresented or disadvantaged groups does not guarantee selection. All applicants must satisfy the published eligibility requirements and will be assessed using the approved selection criteria, scoring matrix and interview process. Final selection shall be based on academic merit, motivation, preparedness for international mobility and the requirements of the Erasmus+ Programme.
